The coin is dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birth of Vyacheslav Prokopovych, a Ukrainian public-political and state figure, a teacher, historian and publicist. Vyacheslav Konstantinovich Prokopovich is one of the founders of the Ukrainian Central Rada. In January-April 1918 - Minister of National Education of the UPR, in 1920 he was appointed Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the UPR. In emigration, V.K.Prokopovich held key positions in the government of the UPR in the exile.
