The coin is devoted to the outstanding engineer, one of the pioneers of space rocket technology and the creators of the multiple rocket and space system `Energy - Buran`, academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR - Valentina Petrovich Glushko (1908 - 1989). Created by the prominent designer engines lifted and raised to air planes, spacecraft, carrier rockets. Valentin Glushko is the author of more than two hundred scientific papers on the issues of rocket and space technology, in particular engine construction, laureate of State Prizes, awarded the golden medal named after Tsiolkovsky.
