On November 26, 2020, the National Bank of Ukraine will issue a souvenir banknote "Leonid Kadenyuk - the first cosmonaut of independent Ukraine", dedicated to the Hero of Ukraine, Leonid Konstantinovich Kadenyuk, who in 1997 flew on the American space shuttle "Columbia" as part of an international crew. He performed a wide range of work as part of a joint Ukrainian-American experiment, the task of which was to study the effect of microgravity on plant growth. The souvenir banknote is printed using offset, intaglio, screen and letterpress printing using protected inks. The dimensions of the souvenir banknote are 80 x 170 mm.
