The silver coin is dedicated to the Hetman of the Left Bank of Ukraine Pavel Polubotka (bl. 1660 - 1724), who stood at the head of the elite of Ukraine and opposed the restriction of Ukraine's autonomy for the restoration of hetmanism and the liquidation of the Little Russian Collegium. For organizing opposition activities he was imprisoned in the Peter and Paul Fortress, where he died. Buried in St. Petersburg.
