The coin is devoted to Pavlo Chubinsky, an ethnographer, folklorist, poet, public and cultural figure, author of the Ukrainian Hymn `Ukraine has not yet died ...`. Paul Platonovich is rightfully one of the most honorable places in the galder of Gromad and the scholars of the second half of the XIX century, thanks to the titanic efforts which made possible the national revival of Ukraine. He was one of the founders of the Ukrainian ethnographic science, headed ethnographic expeditions on the study of Ukraine, Belarus and Moldavia.
