A memorable medal is devoted to the offensive operation of the Ukrainian Galician Army - the Chortkiv Atheniums, which was held on June 7-7, 1919, in order to liberate the entire territory of the Western Ukrainian People's Republic. The Chortkiv affair, which took place during the most intense period of the Ukrainian liberation struggles of 1917-1921, testified to the will of the Ukrainians to fight and is for the descendants a model of national dignity and courage.
