The coin is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Ukrainian kobzar Ostap Nikitovich Veresaya (Ostap Sokirinsky, Labsa, Radchishin) (1803 - 1890's). Possessing powerful artistic means of influencing the listener, the kobzar tried to carry only high ethical standards to the people, to give positive emotions, to find the words that were expected of him. T. Shevchenko in 1860 gave him his `Kobzar`. Heresy's creativity attracted the attention of M. Lysenko, I. Franko, F. Kolessa, M. Grinchenko and others. His concerts took place in Kyiv, St. Petersburg.
