The silver coin was issued on the occasion of the conclusion of the Ukrainian-Swedish alliances, namely the Korsun Agreement of 1657, the Velykobudishans'kyi treatise of 1709, and the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the events connected with the Hetman Ivan Mazepa's military-political speech. These international agreements were aimed at gaining state independence of the Ukrainian state.
