The coin is dedicated to the bright pearl of Ukrainian folk art - Kosiv ceramics, which got its name from the city of Kosiv in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. Aesthetics and style, born in the Ukrainian Carpathians, are not confused with anything. The main elements of Kosiv painting - flowers, patterns that go into a geometric ornament; birds and images of people in the national Hutsul clothes are made in a special gamut mostly green, yellow and brown. Faithfulness of the tradition, rich vibrant colors, thematic plots - all this today distinguishes the original Kosiv painting.
