The coin is devoted to the historic area, full of glorious Cossack traditions, in the center of which is one of its colors - the Holy Trinity Monastery of Motrony. Cold Yar is a relic forest (Kamensky district of Cherkassy region), where among the most famous natural monuments is the millennial oak, named in honor of Maxim Zalizniak. This area has preserved many archaeological sites of different ages. In the 1840s, Taras Shevchenko visited Taras Shevchenko, who mentions Holodny Yar in poetry "Haydamaky" and "Cold Yar". In 1919-1922 under the flag of the Ukrainian People's Republic there were rebels of the Kholodnoyarsk Republic.
