The silver coin is dedicated to one of the Hetman capitals - Glukhov. Glukhova's historical past is closely connected with the processes of state and law-making. Since 1708, the city has become a permanent residence of Hetmans of the Left Bank Ukraine - I. Skoropadsky, P.Polubotka, D.Apostol, K.Rozumovsky. In Glukhiv there were the first Little Russian Collegium (1722-1727), the Hetman Government (1734-1750) and the Second Little Russian Collegium (1764-1792), the General Military Chancery, the General Court, and other state bodies acted there.
