The silver coin is dedicated to the church, which is the embodiment of the best traditions of domestic sacral architecture. The temple was built in the style of the Ukrainian Baroque in memory of the heroism of the Cossacks of the Chernihiv Regiment, discovered by them during the assault of the Turkish Fortress Azov in 1696 under the command of Colonel Yakov Lizogub. The church is located in the historical center of the city of Chernihiv, on a hill, according to its forms, repeats the typical Cossack wooden temple, built on the means of the brothers Cossacks of James and Semen Lyzogubov and consecrated in 1715.
