Boris Martos was one of the leaders of the Peasant Union and one of the authors of the Ukr Land Law Project. Since December 1918 - Minister of Food Affairs, and from April to August 1919 - Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Finance of the Directory of the UNR.
