The coin is dedicated to the land located in the southwest of the East European Plain in the areas of forest-steppe and mixed forests. A unique combination of ancient historical and architectural monuments, picturesque landscapes, and soft, curative climate is the Khmelnytskyi Region, which is famous for the fortresses of Kam'yantsa-Podolsky, Medzhibozha, Starokostyantinova, canyons of the Dniester and Smotrych, the caves of the Bakotsky rock monastery, and others like that. Over the territory of the oblast there are more than three thousand rivers and streams, the largest among them - the rivers Dniester, Southern Bug, Goryn, Sluch, Zbruch, Smotrych; here it records more than 300 fields with 26 kinds of various minerals, more than sixty sections of underground fresh, mineral and table waters. There are many enterprises in the Khmelnytsky region, whose products are valued in Ukraine and abroad, and partner relations with many countries have been established.
