The coin is devoted to the design bureau `Southern`, which was founded on April 10, 1954 in the city of Dnipropetrovsk. About 70 types of spacecraft, developed by the CB 'South', made it possible to successfully carry out space research in the framework of both national and international projects that promote the development of science and national economy. Today, one of the priorities of this bureau is the implementation of the National Space Program of Ukraine, according to which the launch of the multifunctional spacecraft Sich-1M in 2004 is scheduled.
