100th anniversary of the VI Vernadsky National Taurida National University coin 2 UAH 2018

The coin is dedicated to the institution of higher education, the history of which begins its countdown from the adoption of the Resolution of the Crimean Regional Government `On the establishment of the Tauride University`. After the adoption of the Resolution, the Tauride University was completed and on October 14, 1918, it was solemnly opened in Simferopol. During the years of its activities, the University has developed such scientific areas as human health, environmental protection, resource-saving technologies, information systems. In November, 2015 the Taurida National University named after VI Vernadsky was transferred to Kyiv from the annexed Crimea.
