The coin is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, the successor of the Ukrainian Academy of Arts, which was founded on December 18, 1917, on the initiative of prominent statesmen, cultural figures, artists at the time of great hopes and severe trials for Ukraine. The main goal of the first higher educational institution in Ukraine was to cultivate an art school based on the traditions of national and world culture.
